As a firm, we make it a top priority to educate and train employees on how underwriters underwrite risk and how their premiums are created. This pulls the curtain back and empowers employees to make educated, consumerist decisions about how their healthcare dollars should be used.

Employee Training Breakdown:

We first make sure to understand the culture and demographics of your employees, and adjust our training accordingly to be best received by the audience.

Then, we begin by educating employees on their basic benefits, such as:

  • What is their deductible?
  • What is their out-of-pocket maximum?
  • What is their coinsurance?
  • What are their physician and prescription copays?
  • Wellness benefits
  • Additional benefits (Aflac, Colonial Life, H.R.A., F.S.A., H.S.A.)

We then break down and share helpful consumer tips that employees can use to lower their out of pocket costs, and clear up any misconceptions about how their plans work.

Following this, we teach and train the importance of wellness and the staggering effect it has not only on their overall health, but the direct effect it has on their yearly costs.

After the initial training has been completed in person, our team also creates customized benefit training videos for employees to help explain all of the above when our team isn’t there.
